Choosing the right INCITE Awards category
Picking the right category can make all the difference in your INCITE Awards nomination. Each category has its own eligibility
rules and judging criteria, so take a few minutes to review them carefully before you start.
Choose the one that best showcases the most innovative and impactful part of your work.
The INCITE Awards are grouped into two main streams
Key Nomination Tips
Tip 1
Submit up to three entries across different categories to maximise your chances of recognition.
Tip 2
Each entry should be tailored to its specific category for the best impact.
Tip 3
Copying the same entry without adapting it rarely performs well —customise each submission.
Pro tip: Focus on what about your solution or product really stands out. This is
your chance to show what makes your work unique, innovative, and impactful.
Completing the INCITE Awards entry form
Before starting your entry, take a moment to confirm that you’ve selected the category that best
reflects your work. Choosing the right category is an important step, and it’s worth taking your time to get it right.
Once you’re ready, click the “Nominate” button to begin the online entry form. Depending on the
category, the entry form may include five to eight sections, with questions tailored to the specific award. Each category form is
slightly different, so be sure to read each section carefully.
Take a moment to reflect
What challenge does your solution solve?
Why is this innovative?
Who benefits, and how?
What is the real-world impact?
What happens when I submit my nomination?
Entries are first assessed through an online judging round.
Based on this assessment, a number of entries are selected as finalists and progress to the second
stage of judging.
Being selected as a finalist means your entry has met the judging criteria to a high standard and will move
forward to Round Two: the virtual presentation stage.
Being selected as a finalist is a significant achievement and reflects the strength and quality of your
nomination.
