New partnership with CERI to accelerate INCITE Awards tech innovations

WAITTA and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research & Innovation (CERI) have announced a significant partnership to celebrate the milestone 35th INCITE Awards program.

Through the new partnership, the winner of the Research & Development Award will receive a CERI prize package valued at $5,500, including access to the organisation's entrepreneurship and startup development programs.

CERI’s programs provide a comprehensive journey through the startup formation process — from inspiration and idea validation through to investment readiness and growth.

Participants will gain access to

Entrepreneurial Mindset Bootcamp

An intensive program designed to develop entrepreneurial thinking and help participants identify and evaluate opportunities for real-world problem-solving.

Concept to Creation (C2C)

An 11-week program that helps founders and innovators build viable business models, understand customer needs and develop their startup strategy.

Investment Readiness

A program designed to prepare founders for raising capital by strengthening investor communication, validating opportunities and developing funding strategies.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment between the INCITE Awards and CERI to strengthen Western Australia’s technology innovation ecosystem by supporting innovators not only through recognition, but through capability development and commercialisation pathways.

For 35 years, the INCITE Awards have celebrated Western Australians using technology to deliver real-world impact across industry, research, government and the community. The partnership with CERI ensures that award recognition is paired with opportunities to further develop ideas and accelerate growth.

Nominations for the 35th INCITE Awards are now open and close on 7 April.
